Limiting unemployment benefits to 2 years

Getting back into work faster, with stronger support: that is the aim of this unemployment reform. Benefits are now limited in time, with a maximum duration of two years and a gradual reduction, to encourage a return to work. At the same time, jobseekers are directed more towards training, retraining and personalised follow-up, with the CPAS taking over where necessary. The result: a system refocused on employment, more active support and more bridges into the labour market.
