Brussels has officially submitted its bid to host the European Athletics Championships in 2030. This bid falls within a highly symbolic year: the 200th anniversary of Belgium, the 100th anniversary of King Baudouin Stadium and the 80th anniversary of the first European Athletics Championships held in Brussels. A major event that would put our capital in the spotlight, bring citizens together around sport and strengthen Brussels' appeal on the European stage.
