The CPAS of the City of Brussels, chaired by David Weytsman, is setting up an intensive French training programme for jobseekers. In partnership with the Cours du Soir de Bruxelles, this initiative aims to facilitate quick access to employment, particularly in the cleaning and maintenance sectors.
These training sessions, lasting two and a half weeks, will each welcome fifteen participants between November and December.
David Weytsman explains: “To live and work in Belgium, it is essential to speak at least one of the two national languages. At the CPAS, we see that many of the people we support speak neither French nor Dutch. That is why we decided to launch this accelerated programme. Emancipation comes through knowledge of languages.”
