As part of the second quarterly review of files for 2024, the Minister for Sports Infrastructure gave a provisional agreement to 17 files at the pre-project stage for an amount of €20,285,730, and 12 files received a firm subsidy commitment for an amount of €8,506,910.
As a reminder, these subsidies, awarded every quarter, allow for the development and maintenance of sports infrastructure while respecting criteria such as an ethics charter, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, energy-efficient construction and the use of sustainable materials… The new decree has notably simplified procedures and limited upfront costs required to obtain a subsidy.
A provisional agreement for 17 files
The Minister for Sports Infrastructure has given a provisional agreement to 17 files at the pre-project stage. In order to limit upfront expenses before obtaining a subsidy, files requiring the involvement of a project author are now subject to a provisional agreement. On this basis, project holders can move forward with their file, with the guarantee of obtaining a firm subsidy commitment once their technical file is validated and budget availability is confirmed.
