Georges-Louis Bouchez was at the Manoir du Capitaine in Feluy this Friday lunchtime for a “Midi Business” event focused on political and economic issues. It was an opportunity for a direct exchange with entrepreneurs about their concerns and the reforms needed to support economic activity.
At the heart of his speech was the aim of giving businesses the means to invest, grow and create jobs. The MR President put forward concrete priorities: containing the tax burden, simplifying administrative procedures, speeding up permits and guaranteeing greater predictability for energy costs.
Supporting work and regaining an industrial ambition
Georges-Louis Bouchez also called for a reduction in taxation to better reward those who work without benefiting from support aimed at the lowest incomes.
Faced with Europe's energy and industrial dependencies, he championed a strategy based on nuclear power, innovation and the redevelopment of European production sectors. A single conviction underpins these proposals: growth must once again become a political priority in order to preserve our prosperity and sustainably fund our social model.
