In this second quarter of 2026, the Minister for Sport and Sports Infrastructure gave her approval for the granting of 5 agreements in principle and 6 firm grant pledges totalling €4.511 million. The next round of decisions on granting agreements in principle and firm pledges will take place during the summer. “ As announced at the beginning of the year, I will propose to the Walloon Government in the coming weeks a reform of the current decree, one of whose main objectives will be to simplify the scheme and move towards greater clarity in the granting of subsidies for the benefit of applicants,” says Jacqueline Galant.
As a reminder, these grants, generally awarded quarterly, help develop and maintain sports infrastructure in line with criteria such as an ethics charter, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, energy-efficient construction and the use of sustainable materials…
