Several concrete administrative simplifications benefit young farmers in particular: a change to the deadline for submitting an application for installation aid, giving young people more time to better develop their project, exemption from conditionality checks for holdings of less than 10 hectares, a change to the SGP (Standard Gross Production) threshold to allow young people access to investment aid, and maintaining the budget for coupled support by ending the transfer mechanism to other schemes. The installation aid budget has been increased to ensure that all favourable aid applications can receive support.
