The reform modernises the senior civil service of Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation around a clear principle: greater responsibility, transparency and efficiency. It provides for a 20% reduction in senior management positions, without redundancies, the opening of posts to more profiles, more objective selection procedures and regular results-based evaluation. The aim is to end the dilution of responsibilities, better steer the administration and offer citizens more efficient public services.
