At the initiative of the Minister of Economy Pierre-Yves Jeholet, the Walloon Government implemented a thorough reform of the Business Vouchers scheme right from the start of the legislature, with the aim of establishing a stricter, more transparent and more effective framework, refocused on the beneficiary businesses. The transition is accompanied by a temporary and strictly targeted moratorium, limited to new applications for provider accreditation, excluding the business vouchers themselves and the Energy scheme.
