Good news for Walloon households equipped with solar panels: when an installation shuts down due to excessive grid voltage, the unproduced electricity can now be compensated. The Walloon Government has adopted at first reading a draft decree introducing this new mechanism, which will come into force next year. The compensation will be proportional to the actual production loss, provided you have a smart meter and register with your grid operator.
