The Federal Police is regaining police capacity! Since 1 July, soldiers have been securing the nuclear sites of Tihange and Doel. From 1 December, the same will apply to the nuclear facilities in Mol, Geel and Dessel, and from April 2026 to the Fleurus site. This frees up police capacity that can be redeployed to fight crime, particularly in Brussels.
