Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, the first year of secondary school will evolve to consolidate essential learning, with more mathematics, French, languages, sciences, digital skills and an initial introduction to career guidance. Students facing difficulties will also benefit from personalised support, to help them better master the necessary skills and progress more confidently in their studies. The goal: to give every young person a solid foundation, clear guidance and better chances of success.
