In distribution, related sectors and e-commerce, night work will now start at 11pm, with simpler procedures for introducing it. This adjustment gives Belgian companies more means to remain competitive against foreign competition, particularly in a sector where orders, logistics and delivery times play a decisive role. The purchasing power of current workers is maintained, while creating a more favourable framework for business development and job creation in Belgium.
