Speaking on RTL-TVI this Sunday, the Vice-President of the Walloon Government made a clear assessment: yes, the situation is difficult… but Wallonia is moving forward.
Industrial investment, the return of strategic projects, export momentum: the positive signs are there and must be acknowledged.
“Wallonia is back in the economic game. But now we need to speed up,” insisted Pierre-Yves Jeholet.
To achieve this, the Government is acting:
- Simplifying the schemes,
- Targeted support for businesses,
- Better coordination between public actors, more effective policies to get people back into work.
Goal: less fragmentation, more impact.
In a tight budgetary context, the priority is clear: spend better, support those who invest, and rebuild a dynamic of trust.
