Georges-Louis Bouchez, a guest on RTL's 1pm news programme this Wednesday, announced that the PS and Ecolo have “pulled the plug” on the Wallonia-Brussels Federation government by allying with the opposition PTB to change the Paysage decree.
“The coalition of failure, unemployment and bankruptcy”
“The PS and Ecolo are trying to make people believe they will work. We take note that the PS and Ecolo have pulled the plug. That is the coalition of failure, unemployment and bankruptcy. We wake up today with a new majority, PS-PTB-Ecolo. The consequence is the devaluation of the university degree. At the MR, we have a clear vision facing a bloc increasingly leaning towards the far left.
This is pure ideology at the expense of students. Our slogan, “50 shades of left”, is true! We show that the PTB is the pivotal element. Citizens know what to expect. It's the devaluation of the degree, soon work, security… This is the coalition of failure taking shape.
We note that the PS and Ecolo are becoming increasingly unstable. They are chasing after the PTB. At the MR, we remain loyal partners. We will never jeopardise government stability. There are two blocs today, the far-left one led by the PTB with Ecolo and PS in tow, and us.
This change, just days before the exam period begins, is disastrous. Students no longer know what the rules are.”
