This year, 1,520 students will be admitted following the next entrance exam for medical and dental studies for the 2024-2025 academic year, namely 1,346 in medicine and 174 in dentistry.
This exam will be held on 28 August 2024.
Registrations are open from this Wednesday 15 May (9:00 am) until 7 July (11:59 pm) and are done exclusively online via the website https://www.concoursmd.be/
The number of non-resident candidates is set at 15% of the total number of admissible candidates.
As a reminder:
The calculation of the number of admissible candidates takes into account, on the one hand, the quotas set by the Federal Government (929 in medicine and 106 in dentistry) and, on the other hand, the dropout rate of students during their studies set by the Government of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (namely 0.31 for doctors and 0.39 for dentists).
“Dropout rate” refers to the estimated number of students who will ultimately not enrol in these studies, who will not complete the course, or who will not pursue training in Belgium leading to a specific professional qualification.
