On Monday 24 June, the royal informant will meet separately with the Presidents of the MR, Georges-Louis BOUCHEZ, and of Les Engagés, Maxime PREVOT. Due to these meetings, the consultations scheduled for Monday 24 June have been postponed to Friday 28 June.
As a reminder, since Monday 17 June, the Presidents of the MR and of Les Engagés have begun consultations with representatives of civil society and grassroots actors driving change in Wallonia, in order to listen to their concerns and expectations and inform the roadmap of the new governments of Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
The objective is clear: to modernise and give a new impetus to Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation by adopting priority reforms for their socio-economic recovery and for the success of the transitions, for the benefit of all citizens and future generations.
Drawing in particular on these discussions, the memoranda and the programmes of the two parties involved, technical working groups, involving experts, parliamentarians and staff, are currently meeting in parallel to co-draft the Regional Policy Statement and the Community Policy Statement under the supervision of the two Presidents.
