Marc Loewenstein has announced his decision to join the Mouvement Réformateur. A carefully considered decision, in keeping with his political career and his convictions.
His political involvement began in 2002 within the political family then united in the Mouvement Réformateur, which brought together the PRL, the FDF and the MCC. After these formations separated in 2011, he had chosen to continue his involvement within the FDF, which later became DéFI.
Over the years, Marc Loewenstein has held several political roles: parliamentary aide, municipal councillor, alderman, Brussels MP and member of his party's leadership. He now highlights the richness of this experience.
“I do not disown any of this journey. Quite the opposite,” he explains, referring to the many encounters and human bonds formed during these years.
After several months of reflection, he decided to join the MR, believing he could more naturally defend his convictions there. “My values have not changed: liberalism, solidarity, personal responsibility and good governance remain the convictions that guide my commitment.”
Marc Loewenstein will also continue to sit on Forest's municipal council within the MR-DéFI group, in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect.
By joining the Mouvement Réformateur, he wishes to continue his commitment to serving the people of Forest, Brussels and society as a whole.
