This Wednesday, MR President Georges-Louis Bouchez welcomed Prime Minister Bart De Wever to Mons for a straightforward working meeting. Over lunch at an iconic venue in the city, the two political leaders discussed several major issues, including the budget, energy costs and ongoing reforms.
Beyond the discussions, this visit gave the Prime Minister the opportunity to discover the situation on the ground in Wallonia. “He was able to better grasp some of my positions,” said Georges-Louis Bouchez, stressing the importance of confronting viewpoints and regional realities.
