The MR confirms its position as the leading party with strong results in the municipal and provincial elections across the whole territory: "We therefore feel supported and strengthened in our positions," declared Georges-Louis Bouchez.
"We are in a position to secure mayoral offices in cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants in Wallonia, but also in Brussels. In the provinces, which are strongholds of the PS, the socialists are declining, while the MR is growing."
This new blue wave also confirms the results from June. "Voters have shown their support for the MR, and more broadly, the Walloon majority has been strengthened."
