As Martin Buxant's guest on Sunday evening on RTL TVI, Georges-Louis Bouchez delivered a clear and confident defence of our project, on the occasion of our 180th anniversary. Freedom is in the DNA of every human being, and liberalism is the only political philosophy that works because it respects this reality: everyone wants to make something of their life, without the state deciding for them.
Georges-Louis Bouchez expressed confidence for the upcoming elections: the MR has a coherent project, the courage to take responsibility, and ongoing reforms that will produce further results within three years. Voters belong to no one: they will judge based on results, not slogans.
On the socio-economic front, the MR President reiterated: no new taxes, neither for the already exhausted middle class nor on high wealth, at the risk of driving away the investors Europe desperately needs so as not to miss the artificial intelligence revolution.
He also firmly defended Valérie Glatigny and the education reform: a political leader must listen, negotiate, but decide, rather than let the system drift towards collapse. The same logic applied to the police: he condemns the systematic attacks from the left and far-left on law enforcement and recalls a simple principle: when the police give an order, you comply, regardless of your status.
In a few minutes, our President summed up the line: defend freedom, protect the middle class, support those who work, run businesses, teach and maintain order, against those who criticise, tax and destroy without ever offering a credible alternative.
