The Electoral Board of the MR Brussels & Periphery Branch, chaired by Viviane TEITELBAUM, announces the official opening of candidacies for the election of the Chair of the MR Brussels & Periphery Branch.
Following David LEISTERH's decision to no longer hold the position of Chair of the Regional Branch, an election is being organised in accordance with the statutes of the Mouvement Réformateur to ensure continuity of the mandate. This decision comes amid a Brussels political context marked by the liberals' return to regional power, a victory achieved under David LEISTERH's leadership in the election of 9 June 2024.
Who can stand as a candidate?
Any MR member of the Brussels & Periphery Branch who is up to date with their membership fees for 2024, 2025 and 2026 may submit their candidacy.
