Vivaqua, the Brussels public water management company, has renewed its Board of Directors and Executive Bureau.
David Weytsman (MR), President of the CPAS of the City of Brussels, was elected President.
David Weytsman:
“I thank Georges-Louis Bouchez and David Leisterh for their trust. I take on this responsibility with determination and rigour. In my view, a public service must be both efficient, well managed, and serve the public interest.
Vivaqua will have to face immense challenges: adapting the network to the reality of climate change, modernising our infrastructure, guaranteeing quality drinking water, and doing so within a constrained budget. This requires targeted investment, rigorous management and a long-term vision.
Nothing is simple, but nothing is out of reach when acting with seriousness.”
