MR member or supporter? Join the team of witnesses at polling or counting stations!
On 9 June, the European, federal and regional elections will take place. A major democratic exercise in which polling station chairpersons and assessors, traditionally appointed for the occasion, will actively take part.
In order to check the legality and compliance of the electoral procedures in the polling and counting stations, political parties are entitled to appoint witnesses who will act on election day, either in the polling stations (paper and electronic voting) or in the counting stations (paper voting only). These witnesses will be appointed by the lists on 28 May.
To fully inform you about the role of witnesses, we have prepared a short vademecum which outlines their responsibilities.
If you would like to contribute to the MR's action and to democratic oversight, please contact the president of your local section or our provincial federations directly and as soon as possible; they will forward your application to the sections of the relevant cantons.
