At the Party Council, Georges-Louis Bouchez presented the results of the MR's internal elections

14/04/2025
In brief

The MR renewed all of its internal bodies in elections marked by strong turnout. The provincial presidencies and that of the Brussels Regional branch achieved very high scores, confirming strong stability around the leadership team.

MR members renewed all of their internal bodies, with the exception of the national presidency, which had already been renewed in July with 96%. From 10 to 13 April, thousands of members went to the various local polling stations.

The Electoral Commission, chaired by Pierre Boucher, was tasked with organising the election of the MR Seniors' presidency and coordinating the organisation of the elections with the provincial electoral offices and that of the Brussels Regional branch.

At the end of the Mouvement Réformateur's Party Council, convened this Monday morning, Georges-Louis Bouchez presented the results of these votes.
