The MR is opening applications for its next Consultative Assembly of members. Do you want to actively take part in your party's decisions and make your voice heard? Now is the time!
Why a Consultative Assembly of members?
This participatory body of 30 members embodies our commitment to fostering internal democracy and ensuring balanced representation, in terms of both diversity and gender parity. Members are selected by draw from among eligible candidates, guaranteeing an assembly that faithfully reflects the richness of our movement.
What is its role?
- Issue opinions to the MR Council, on its own initiative or at the Council's request.
- Bridge the concerns of members with the party's strategic direction.
- Strengthen the transparency and openness of decision-making processes.
Each year, two members are chosen by draw to take part in the MR Council, and the Assembly's Chair, elected by their peers, automatically sits on the MR Council. A unique opportunity to experience key moments in the party's political life!
Who can apply?
You can apply if:
- You are a member of the MR, in good standing with your membership fees for the last two years.
- You do not hold any elected mandate, except as a municipal or CPAS councillor.
- You are ready to get involved, attend evening meetings regularly, and occasionally travel within Wallonia and Brussels.
The mission runs for one year, marked by commitment, dialogue and collective enrichment.

Applications are open from 1 August to 12 September 2025.
