The special edition of the Tax TV Show on the Arizona agreement brought together Georges-Louis Bouchez alongside Jean-Luc Crucke, Vice-President of Les Engagés and Minister for Climate, as well as two industry experts: Pierre-François Coppens and Thierry Litannie.
During the programme, Georges-Louis Bouchez looked back on the positions defended by the MR during the negotiations on the government agreement. The MR President recalled that the party had worked for more predictable and less punitive taxation, with the priority of restoring a climate of trust between taxpayers and the administration. He stressed that “this government agreement marks a genuine change in mindset, both in relations with taxpayers and tax control, and in the ambition to unleash entrepreneurial energy.” A new direction in keeping with the MR's ongoing commitments, with concrete progress reflecting the priorities defended throughout the campaign. Less tax pressure on those who work, save and invest!
Expert commentators Sébastien Thiry, Maxime Besème, Guillaume Charlier and Julien Limet analysed the repercussions of these developments on purchasing power, the fight against fraud and corporate tax (ISOC). Broad and technical topics that all the guests were able to analyse.
Georges-Louis Bouchez also recalled that several technical details on various aspects of the agreement still need to be clarified, particularly regarding the capital gains tax, and that there is therefore no need to worry about matters still pending.
