Next Monday will mark 100 days since the Dilliès Government took office. A hundred days of action, decisions and concrete results for Brussels. In just a few weeks, the liberals have set a clear course: acting effectively and sensibly, restoring order to public finances, and relaunching structural projects for the future of our Region.
A first strong signal: the budget was adopted in record time. Restoring order to public finances helped save the Region from bankruptcy and freed up resources to support forward-looking projects such as NEO and Confex, Union's new stadium, and the conversion of the Audi.brussels site.
Safety and quality of life are also at the heart of the Minister-President's work, particularly on securing the North and South stations, the true gateways to the capital. On the agenda: increased video surveillance, better coordination of on-the-ground presence, and redevelopment of public spaces to reduce their crime-prone nature.
Change is also visible in public spaces: the concrete blocks that disfigured several neighbourhoods are gradually being removed in favour of more attractive, safety-oriented street furniture.
And this is only the beginning. Over the next three years, the Government will continue this work with clear priorities: improving quality of life for Brussels residents, halting the exodus of the middle class, strengthening the capital's appeal, and restoring pride among Brussels residents.
The liberal mark is clear: concrete results, efficiency and an ambitious vision for Brussels.
