A doctor close to you, who takes the time

Everyone must be able to count on a family doctor, including in the countryside and in neighbourhoods where there is a shortage. We want to make young doctors want to settle there. We also want the time spent listening to a patient to be recognised, and waiting times for specialists to come down.

Respected care workers, cutting-edge care

Without nurses and care assistants, there is no care. We want more attractive professions and work whose demands are recognised. We also want new treatments to reach you faster. Hospitals will share out their specialities better, delivering cutting-edge care while keeping care close to home.

Prevention is better than cure

Good follow-up prevents many illnesses and costs less than a hospital stay. We want to encourage everyone to see their family doctor regularly, from childhood onwards. Vaccination and screening must follow the same rules everywhere in the country, instead of varying depending on where you live.

Mental health is not a taboo

Many young people and families are struggling, and it is not always visible. We want mental health care that is easier to access, with no financial barrier for young people. Services must work together better, so that you are not sent from one door to the next.

Your contributions must pay for care, not fund the health insurance funds

Your health insurance fund is there for one thing: to reimburse your care and support you when you need it. But over time it has taken on many other roles, and its running costs keep climbing. Yet the money from your contributions must go to patients first. That is why we want health insurance funds to focus on their real mission, with clearer public oversight.
