Member of the Chamber of Representatives

In brief

Christophe Bombled

Born in Charleroi in 1973, Christophe Bombled began his political career in Cerfontaine, a rural municipality of just under five thousand inhabitants in the province of Namur.

In 2006 he became mayor of Cerfontaine, a post he has held without interruption ever since. He was re-elected in 2012, in 2018 and again in October 2024.

On 17 March 2020, as a substitute on the MR list for the Namur constituency, he entered the Chamber of Representatives, replacing David Clarinval, who had become a minister in the Wilmès II government.

At the June 2024 elections he was once again first substitute behind David Clarinval. When the latter joined the federal government, he returned to the Chamber on 4 February 2025. He is now a Member of the Chamber of Representatives, a mandate he combines with that of mayor of Cerfontaine.
