Arianede Lobkowicz

Member of the Brussels Parliament

In brief

Ariane de Lobkowicz

Born in Uccle in 1996, Ariane de Lobkowicz-d'Ursel is the daughter of Stéphane de Lobkowicz and Barbara d'Ursel de Lobkowicz, both former MPs; her mother, elected to the Brussels Parliament in 2014, died in office in 2017. A graduate in graphic design from ESA Saint-Luc in Brussels, she obtained a master's degree in law from UCLouvain in 2025.

In 2019 she was elected to the Brussels Parliament on the DéFI list, where she achieved the fifth-best score: at 23, she became the country's youngest MP. She was behind the draft ordinance banning slaughter without stunning.

In September 2023 she joined the MR group, notably because of the liberals' commitment to animal welfare, a cause she has championed since the start of her term.

Re-elected in the June 2024 elections, she also became a municipal councillor in Uccle in December 2024. She has since sat as an MR member of the Brussels Parliament.
