May Day 2026 celebration at Blegny-Mine
Since February, the MR has been part of every government and is therefore able to deliver its liberal project at all levels of power.
To mark May Day, we are meeting this year at Blegny-Mine. This symbol of Wallonia's mining past will allow us to talk about the future: the reindustrialisation of Europe and, why not, the reopening of mines to extract the resources our economic development needs, thereby restoring our strategic autonomy.
The day will also be an opportunity to explain our reforms (tax reform, pension reform, reform of employment incentives and of the training sector) to better reward those who work and have worked, and to better support and guide inactive people back into employment.
In recent months, the MR has held many events that have allowed us to refine our proposals in order to seize every opportunity in industrial development, artificial intelligence and European sovereignty.
The great liberal family is delighted to come together for a day of celebration, with
speeches, meet-ups at our local branches' stands, a giant barbecue and many other
activities for young and old.
